In 1978 I received my real estate license while I was employed at (John) Deere & Co. headquarters in Moline, IL as a computer analyst.  Then in 1980 I quit working for Deere because I put together a few apartment sales transactions and realized I loved the challenge of sales. 


After acquiring my broker's license, from 1981-85, I had my own real esate company.  In 1986 I affiliated with Mel Foster Commercial where my sales volume exceeded $60 million. I was the Top Commercial Salesperson in 1988 and 1989 and the Top Mel Foster Agent in 1989. Since joining the RE/MAX team in 1990 some of my accomplishments are:

*     1993: #3 Agent in The RE/MAX Central Region (Iowa and Nebraska)

*     1994: #1 in The RE/MAX Central Region and received the Platinum
 Award

*     1994: #5 in Volume for Sales with RE/MAX lnt'l Commercial Property

*     1998: #1 Commercial Agent for the entire RE/MAX International and  in the top 100 of the 80,000 agents in sales volume, with sales volume exceeding $40 million

*     1999: #5 Commercial Agent for the entire RE/MAX International and in the top 100 of the 85,000 agents in sales volume

*     I have also received the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award which
 has only been awarded to 953 agents thus far.

*     2004: In August I moved my staff of eight to my own building and it became the Commercial branch of RE/MAX River Cities, Inc.

*   2005-06: I closed over $100,000,000 in investment real estate

*   2007: I opened my own RE/MAX office: RE/MAX Best Commercial and closed over $50,000,000 in sales volume.

*   2008-Present: We relocated our office, RE/MAX Best Commercial, to our new location @ Paul Revere Square towards the end of 2007.

David Ryan   David is a B
roker Associate on our team and has had his real estate license since 2002.  Born and raised in Davenport, he is knowledgeable about the QC market and also owns multifamily units.  He is licensed in both Iowa and Illinois and has completed all of his CCIM classes and working towards his CCIM Designation (only 6% of the est. # of comm agents nationwide have this designation per CCIM).  David is always at the office assisting sellers and buyers and calling clients.        

Dan Ryan  
Dan is a Broker Associate on my team.  Also born and raised in Davenport, he knows the area market well and owns multifamily properties.  He received his real estate license in 2002 & is currently taking classes also.  You can often find Dan out of the office showing properties to potential buyers.  He has completed all his CCIM classes and is currently working towards his CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.  He also has his ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) Designation. 

Leo Ryan   Leo's background is in property management and he has had experience in apartment ownership.  He has numerous years of experience in property management and is familiar with laws, rules and regulations.  

Colleen   Colleen is the Office Manager on my team.  Colleen has a background in customer service and understands how important stellar service is for both us and our clients.  She ensures that we receive every incoming call promptly.  Both Colleen and Monica make sure that everything in our office is current--MLS listings and sales, apartment sales, rental surveys, etc.  A reliable member of our team, she is typically the first person you will talk to when you call the office.
